Rules
All entries must be about Liverpool's year as Capital of Culture
Entrants must either:
- reside in Liverpool.
- attend school College or University in Liverpool.
- work in Liverpool.
Submitted poems must:
- be previously unpublished.
- be an original poem written by the entrant.
- preferably be no more than the equivalent of one side of a sheet of A4.
- be legible.
- include entrants name, and contact details.
- state if under eighteen or eighteen and over.
- be read (or have read) if shortlisted at the Awards Ceremony.
Entrants agree:
- only one entry per person.
- no poems will be accepted after closing date.
- to give permission for their poem to used for the purpose of the competition.
- the judges decision is final.
- no correspondence will be entered into.
- no work will be returned.
- violation of the rules will lead to disqualification.
Organizers agree that:
- no work will published post competition without permission of the author.
- no personal details disclosed to third parties without prior permission of the author.
- all entries free of charge.
